Now this is where you can give me some feedback for Son Gohan. At any time during our interaction or if you're stalking, if you want to give me some constructive crit on improving my characterization, feel free. Helpful notes, suggestions, tips, comments etc. It's all fine, anything to help you as well as me in our RPing together. Don't worry, I don't bite.

Let's see, this is another screened post, anon is switched on for your lots privacy.

Just don't flame, that's not really going to help the RP portrayal or just our shit in general, IC or not.

Okay, obviously the above is the fastest way to get a hold of me. But then again there are times when even my connection goes to shit, I have a WiFi set up, it's not completely fail, actually it's pretty quick some days and others pretty damn slow. Rest assured though I will get back to you ASAP.

Special physical features, fighting abilities, stuff?: Gohan's a pretty cute looking kid, his hair style at the moment somewhat resembles Goku's - but he looks more like his mother. He's pretty friendly and nice to boot, polite and what have you.

Attacks/Techniques

Ki: A spirit fire surrounding the body. Simply put "godmodding" depending on the amount of power you have, from untouchable to "HOLY SHIT!!" It's pretty much the lifeforce inside your body. Everyone has it, just have to learn how to control and use it. With Saiyans (or halfbreeds) it comes natural. Stamina, Speed, Strength, Endurance, etc, it's all heightened. Careful though, there is a limit to just how much your body can handle. But through training...

Bukujutsu: Channeling an amount of ki underneath yourself to fly and or hover above the ground.

Kiai: A technique which pushes an invisible pulse of power outward, either from the hand or just with a glance - so much it creates a heavy gush of wind, capable of knocking the oppenent off balance or out of the air.

Ki Blast/Wave: Size and strength of the blast depends on the amount of availble energy put into it. By the users will and such it can take form of a wave or compacted into more of a ball of spirit fire. All ki manipulaters can create some varient.

Renzoku Energy Dan: A spray of bullet sized ki or spheres of rapid fire energy attacks, either from the index finger or by the palms of the hands. A medium level of attack but the constant barrage make it hard for the oppenent to really maneuver, if caught. Usually ending the attack with a more powerful finish.

Masenko/Devil's Flash: Taught from his first mentor Piccolo, an energy wave which is created by crossing the palms over one another, facing frong, elevating the hands up above the head and gathering the energy there. Hands thrusting forwards. The blast is of a gold color and usually is accompanied by a tail or just a sudden flash of light, hence the name.

Kamehameha/Turtle Destructive Wave: Learned from his father, his trademark attack. The user brings both his arms to one side, just to the hip, the heels of his palms connected. Channeling the energy slowly. Once completed the arms are thrusted forwards at the enemy, the hands open and fingers spread. A blue trail slashing the path. Depending on the user's power, it can be very destructive aswell as massive, enough to obliterate the planet.

Ki barrier: A defensive tech. More so against oncoming blasts of energy. Again, depending on the users will, it can take the shape of the dome or disk.

Zanzoken: Not really useage of ki, it's simply a level of speed which is so fast it makes the user leave a mirage image of himself. To counter attack or get behind the enemy.

Awakened Super Saiyan: The golden fleece of the Saiyan race, a level of power that is purely incredible. Said to be the strongest force in the universe. The Saiyan must reach the limit of his own power in his normal form. Intense rage and purity of the heart is what brings it forth. About 50 times his own power limit in increase. As it is, the person is consumed in a soft golden aura, the hair changes to the same color and sweeps upwards, the eyes are completely jaded. A first time Super Saiyan's attitude is completely different from his normal one, fueled by rage and a cold arrogance in the height of battle. However, once able to transformation at will, and more frequent, that change is subtle.

Super Saiyan 2nd Grade: A form of Super Saiyan that can be obtained through intense training. The muscle mass increases and the hair thins into more defined spikes than before, the aura rushes from that soft fire to a more raging one. Likewise the power and speed is far greater than a first awakened Super Saiyan, Gohan isn't seen to reach this level but its assumed, since he did master the Full Powered Super Saiyan level.

Super Saiyan 3rd Grade: Again gained through training, this level however - although stronger in power than the other forms, has one great weakness, it puts a major strain on the body and the bulky muscles slow the Saiyan down serverely. Again assumed.

Full Power Super Saiyan: Pretty much Super Saiyan ALL THE TIME. It's gained by actually maintaining the state for aslong as possible in everyday activities, once mastered they'll have the power of a super saiyan without all the effects or strain of the body. Staying the same as if they were in base form. The amount of power in itself though far outstrips anything before it, making the other forms useless. There's no awesome aura, and the hair is a much lighter yellow. Only Goku and Gohan have gotten this far.

Ascended Super Saiyan (OR SUPER SAIYAN TWO!): A gigantic super fucking BOOST in all the catagories! This form far far far faaaaaaaaar surpasses any other Super Saiyan form. Obtained by savage rage. The hair becomes a deeper gold and is gathered in many spikes, very few frame the face - the eyes turn a terqouise and the aura violently pours out, accompanied by kinetic bolts of blue energy. Gohan is the only one to get this far - but once he does, say goodbye to the sweet and kind happy boy you once knew! He's nothing but cold, unforgiving and intense!

Background info on your character:
Oh man, oh man. What can be said about Gohan? Gohan is the first born of Goku and ChiChi. A half-saiyan child, since he was barely out of diapers, under the watchful eye of his dotting mother, he's been hitting the books. Her dreams of him becoming a wonderful scholar and helping mankind and all that other stuff. Although that Saiyan blood and his father's adventures have been putting all that on hold, the bond between the two would be only what a father and son can have.

Right! Starting at the beginning, the boy knew nothing of violence, fighting, defending himself, or of death. Pampered and pretty much a well.. how a little kid should be, yet still very well mannered and polite, as only a loving mother would raise him. This all changed with the arrival of Radditz, his father's brother and a Saiyan himself, came to earth. Long story short, Gohan was held as a hostage, daddy comes to save his son. No no no, in Goku's getting ripped a new one by Radditz, Gohan's fear for his father grew, that fear was replaced by rage and that rage was enough to bring Radditz down. This is the first glimpse we see of Gohan's duper powers. Heck not even Goku could fathom it. Too bad he died. Oh crap. Then they get the news, two more powerful Saiyans are coming.

They'd need all the help they could get, and seeing Gohan's power..this sparked some interest in Piccolo. Who after Goku's death took Gohan under his wing for some tough love in mortal kombat, and to use his latent abilities for the arrival of the next threat which would come. Gohan knew nothing of his hidden powers, but Piccolo was determined to teach him just what it was he was capable of. With much brutal lessons in survival and life in general, Gohan made it through many hardships and slowly that little kid grew into a less than annoying and kinda kickbutt little kid. A side-effect, with the boys pure kind heart and innocence, it even caused the once wannabe ruler of the world, Piccolo, to watch over the kid. [BFF!]He found a friend in Gohan. The fruits of training paid off, the Saiyans arrived, [NAPPA AND VEGETA OSH*T]in the midst of it all - Piccolo died protecting Gohan from a blast by Nappa. [one of the sad moments in the series >: Since Piccolo died, no more earth dragon balls to wish back dead buddies.] Overcome with pain and saddness over the loss of his mentor, he attacks Nappa for revenge. Who just laughs it off. Just when it looks like he's about to be smashed by the large Saiyan, he's saved by a not dead anymore Goku, and the rest - well I think we all know how THAT battle turns out.

Namek awaits, New Dragon balls [Dragon balls you say? Created by the Namekians' once all seven are gathered the user can make one wish within that Dragon's power. Anything from the hottest girl's panties to well.. immortality!] to wish back all our dead friends [and Piccolo] who died in that battle that we all know about. Gohan is determined to bring them all back, heading there along with Krillin and Bulma. Road Trip. Once on Namek Gohan encounters not just some Piccolo look alikes, but a black-lipstick wearing fugly girl.. er.. powerful being of ultimate beings. Frieza. Vegeta's boss! Who wants the balls for immortality. So does Vegeta. [a lot of fighting over balls jokes here] Frieza calls for his Ginyu force, who wipe the floor with Gohan, Krillin and Vegeta. Goku finally shows up, again saved by daddy. Sometime later, after getting the balls themselves and wishing Piccolo back - totally yoinking away Friezas wish which resulted in a furious Frieza - they finally come face to face with the head honcho.' In the fight, Krillin becomes seriously injured, Gohan would try to save him but Frieza would stop any attempt. In pure rage and desperation at not being able to help his friend, our little Saiyan hero would attack the tyrant head on, and again just like Radditz, the power poured out - in a barrage of absolute power toppling even Frieza over. Gohan lost himself in it and Frieza would fall to his knees. [Goku saves them all and battles Frieza himself later on.]

SOMETIME LATER

This is where Gohan shines in the series, the Android Saga, by now Gohan is a pretty good fighter with the events that took place before. Training with both his father and first mentor, for the arrival of the androids. [Who Trunks warned them about three years prior.] The boy being now nine years old. Many other happenings take place, the heart virus of his father, androids 17, 18 and 16, all up to where the creature known as Cell makes his debut. Cell exists for the past doings of Gohan's pops, the sole purpose of destroying him. A bio-android, who in order to complete his power, needs the androids. Oh yeah! and he also has Goku's cells, Vegeta's cells, Frieza's cells and Piccolo's cells! Makes him a SUPER ULTRA HARD TO KILL SONOVABITCH! In all the chaos, Cell absorbs 17 and gets stronger. Gohan wants to help in every way he possibly can, until now he's only been saved or letting people down. Was there any way to get stronger? To become more than just a side-liner? His father suggests a room where you can get a whole years worth of training in just one day. Father and Son both enter, it's here Goku tells Gohan he wants him to become even stronger than his daddy. Gohan doesn't think that such a thing is possible, I mean this is the man who saved the world many times, who would be the one to beat Cell, right? Through the training, Gohan is able to reach Super Saiyan status and become just as good as his father. [Damn]
Once they emerge, Cell has already completed himself after absorbing 18. His power was beyond any before it. [because he's perfect now, apparently] They learn of the Cell games. [With the agenda of killing Goku added into the mix, pretty much Cell wants to take all challengers to test his power, if they lose, they die and earth goes boom.] Gohan spends some quality time with dad for the next nine days until then. Fishing, breaking glases and plates by simply HOLDING THEM, getting yelled at by mom, and blowing cake all over her, grandpa and father on his 11th birthday. [He blew too "hard" on the candles!]

The games were now open and set into action! They all got ready and perpared for it. Goku's first, and everyone expects him to win and is awed at his awesome power. [Except Gohan.] Gohan thinks that his father wasn't even going all out and didn't know why everyone was surprised. Sure pops was great but come on. Goku gives up, and says that Gohan will be the one to kick Cell's butt. Wait what? Everyone thinks he's crazy, if HE couldn't do it, how could Gohan? It's revealed NOW that Goku knows of Gohan's hidden powers and that only in pure rage or when he's backed into a corner - will it come to surface, [Of course he never talked to Gohan about it.] and being how Gohan's been into many fights and even is as strong if not stronger than Goku, his power will be the one to put Cell away. Trump card anyone? Sooo.. not wanting to let his old man down and to give the earth peace again, Gohan says he'll do it. Cell is like "o rly?" Gohan fights him and.. gets beat to a pulp, its after this he tries to reason with Cell, to get through to the android - there was no reason for the fighting. Why couldn't Cell realize that?

He finally understood what his father was doing, even though Gohan knew that, he had no desire to obliterate Cell, he wanted to give Cell a chance to realise his mistakes. Gohan told Cell a tall tale of unhappy times. [Dodeledo, dodeledo, dodeledo.] Gohan explained that he had hidden abilities that couldn't even be measured, that only rise when he's in peril or senses an extreme amount of rage. If this continued he wouldn't be able to stop himself, he wouldn't be able to control that power, he'd kill Cell. A blessing in disguise, Cell wants to get Gohan angry to have some fun and to fully be able to go all out with his perfect form. [greedy little bug] but even though Cell pummels the snot out of Gohan, he still refuses to fight him. It's then that Cell goes after his friends, by popping out a few blue babies. [Kinda weird once you watch it.] Gohan was frozen in fear and remorse, watching everyone he cared for fall one by one. That hidden power.. he didn't know how to call it forth, he didn't know why his dad relied on him so much, he was helpless once again. It wasn't until a few kind words from a talking head [Android 16 who tried to destroy Cell earlier] told him to not fear anything, that some people couldn't be reasoned with with words, to protect the things he loved. Cell stepped on the talking face.

Gohan snapped, he let it go: Sadness, despair, heart-ache, fear. Sweet little Gohan was now a force unrivaled - the explosions of power that was seen with Radditz, the Saiyans, and Frieza was finally unleashed. Gohan had reached a level of power that no one thought was possible, hell even Cell was kinda slacked jawed. Try as he might, Cell got his butt kicked, didn't matter what he threw at Gohan, he was far stronger than the proclaimed perfect being - Soon enough Cell threw up 18 [by one punch from Gohan into the gut] and was going to blow himself up aswell as the entire planet. Goku uses his Instant Transmission, talking both him and Cell away - sacrificing himself to save his son and everyone else. [Even sadder moment here. >:] Gohan saw his dad die before his eyes, overcome with guilt and pure heart-ache. He let his powers get to his head. [Having not killed Cell when his daddy said so.] It's then, with a big entrance of lightning and wind, Cell comes back! Even more powerful than before, at the level of Gohan's power, perhaps a bit more than that. He kills Trunks, bitch smacks Vegeta and wounds Gohan all in a matter of a few moments. Gohan with one arm and half his power feels that there isn't a point to fight anymore, that he lost his chance. He lost his father. With the spiritual help from [you'll never guess who, no really!] a dead again Goku, and encouragement, to not hold back anything. Gohan and Cell lock in a Kamehameha battle that literally began shifting the shape of the planet. An epic, epic, epic battle! Even though everyone tried to help Gohan, Cell was just too strong, he blew them away with nothing but his aura. Until Vegeta distracted Cell long enough for Gohan to unleash all he had and completely destroy the android, down to the very very core.

Cells dead, Goku's dead, Trunks is dead, Gohan's the strongest in the universe, earth is saved, Goku is proud of his son, its a happy ending - despite all the dying and the complete grand canyon sized rift in the earth. That's okay though, they got Dragon balls to make everything all better. Like one big band-aid.

Gohan will be taken at the end of the Cell games after all the fighting and all the tears and yes, after the fact that his father doesn't want to be wished back on account of all the badguys are after him and Gohan was now the savior of the world. Gohan's sweet and good natured, a little naive like his father, there's that innocence of him - but there's some brains of his mother too, and her looks. He doesn't doubt himself anymore, and can handle much more since the start of the series. Despite all that power though, he would rather try to talk and reason than resorting to violence. Just don't hurt his friends or push him to the point of anger, plz.

Gosh, I can't believe that after everything, after all that we've been through we can finally say.. It's.. all over. Everyone's suffered so much already, the entire planet was put through Cell's games and destruction. I just hope they can all live peacefully again after this.. I'm sorry mom.. you don't have to worry anymore, I'm coming home. Piccolo, Krillin.. everyone.. and even Vegeta.. thank you..

Heh... and dad.. I won't ever forget what you did for us all, for me.. you helped me through the hardest thing I've ever had to do. You've always been there for us, given all of us so much. You believed in me, even when I knew I couldn't take anymore, when I thought I had hit my limit.. doubted my powers;you urged me to keep going - you were there weren't you? I felt it, I heard you. I could feel that warmth surround me, it made me happy but at the same time.. sad. If I hadn't have been so arrogant you'd still be here with mom and me.

I can't think like that.. thinking about it now... I know everyone is sad that you're gone, they all miss you just as much as I do, but I won't shed any more tears father. I'm not a little kid anymore. I promise we'll do everything we can to make you proud. You can count on it. This is it, a new begining, there's nothing to stop us now! We can live in peace!

Heh heh! Thank you dad, thank you for it all!

Also, what they were doing when they got pulled to the island, any relations with anyone else? Etc) Doing? Well he was flying his way home to tell his mother everything that happened, with his father. Just after everyone parts from Kami's lookout.
